“When the Late President Mills was lamenting on the woes of the economy and what he inherited from former President John Agyeku Kufuor, then Candidate Akufo-Addo said, stop lamenting and fix the economy. This is my message for our friends in the NPP.” Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey has said.

The former Deputy Finance Minister in an interview with Bernard Avle on CitiTv’s Point of View Monday 29, July 2019 monitored by MyNewsGh.com said, the NPP drummed in the ears of Ghanaians that they have the men and will deliver the economy from the shackles it found itself.

He observed that two and half years under this administration, the current government with the competent men it boasted it has, succeeded ballooning the public debt.

The Ketu South legislator cautioned that, never again should Ghanaians fall for the dangerous lies of the NPP as the country races to another election in 2020.

According to him, he felt embarrassed listening to the Finance Minister present the mid-year budget review in parliament on Monday adding that that with the taxes that have been increased, Ghanaians should brace themselves for more hardships as much more hardships are going to be heaped on Ghanaians.

“I think generally, Ghanaians must have this awakening that our friends have danced around and is struggling trying to use the NDC to justify their incompetence”.
