Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has been upbraided by Ghanaians after he was seen supposedly nodding off at Ghana’s memorable independence Anniversary parade in Accra Monday March 6 2017.
Mugabe was among the many dignitaries from neighboring countries who visited to share in the country’s 60th anniversary celebrations. Seated among his colleagues, the very popular president appears to have been sleeping.
Apparently, this is not the first time, he has previously been found snoozing on a number of occasions at similar public events including the AU summit in Addis Ababa.
Robert Mugabe is widely known for his quotes and especially his comments on his country’s stance on gayism.
Here is what some Ghanaians are saying about the incident on social media:

We thought Mugabe was representing Zimbabwe in Ghana, he was sleeping. Mugabe has two vice presidents but he never let them do assignments. pic.twitter.com/yGOMQfmNv2
