Ghanaians have been advised to change their attitude to work if they want to see the country progress.
The advice was given by Prophet Elisha Daniel, a senior pastor of the Empowerment Worship Center when he inaugurated the Men’s Ministry of the church at Akwatia.
Prophet Elisha noted with concern the apathy, lack of commitment and dedication shown by people who work for others, be it for the state or private institutions.
Prophet Elisha again noted that, in Ghana people place their personal interest above national interest and those entrusted with responsibilities would want to make as much personal gain as possible.
He quoted several verses in the bible on the importance of faithfulness and that God showed mercy on people who were faithful and fought for them in all their endeavours, be it in business, career or personal life and relationship.
The Senior Prophet decried the rising spate of corruption in all aspects of national life with the high and low succumbing to the immoral and criminal behaviours and called for change of heart to rid the nation of corruption.
In apparent reference to the corruption scandal within the judiciary, Prophet Elisha asked why if one had a good cause in court, the fellow could not be sure of the outcome of the case.
He said most pastors were no longer talking about faithfulness because people were not interested in hearing it.
