Ghanaians urged to vote for NPP

Shama (W/R), Nov.27, GNA- Mrs Angelina Baiden-Amissah, Member of Parliament for Shama, on Friday said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only political party at the moment that could develop the country. Speaking at a public forum organised by the Shama Constituency of the NPP at Shama, she urged the people to vote for the party in the December election to ensure peace, progress and development.

Mrs Baiden-Amissah, who is seeking re-election on the NPP's ticket, said when elected, she would continue with development projects in the area to raise the living standard of the people.

She complained about the behaviour of some people destroying her posters. Mrs Baiden-Amissah advised those people to stop that and asked politicians to respect the electoral laws of the country to safeguard peace and tranquillity the country is enjoying.

Mr Philip Kwesi Nkrumah, Shama-Ahanta East Metropolitan Chief Executive, said the NPP government has the welfare of the people and the development of the country at heart.

He called on the people to vote for the party
