Ghanair Employes Ex-convict

Sources close to the Ghana Armed Forces have described an ex-security operative of Ghanair, Mr. Ola Durajaiye, as an ex-convict who was employed to assist the airline in the recovery of excess baggage collection at its London Heathrow station in July 2002.

Investigations have revealed that though the airline claimed to have since paid him off, events on the ground prove the contrary.

The source said Ola Durojaiye has been posing as a Colonel of the GAF in London and in Accra.

A statement on the investigation conducted into his activities made available to the paper indicates that from the way Ola behaves at KIA and the Ghana Airways Offices in Accra, majority of personnel of the airline do not even know that he is no longer in the employment of their outfit and believe that he is still on the payroll of the Ghana Airways.

He has since escaped and gone underground, but the Military says he poses a serious threat and is still a wanted person until his case has been conclusively dealt with.
