Give Mahama four more years - Yeji Chief

President John Dramani Mahama started his campaign tour in the Brong Ahafo region today. President John Dramani Mahama started his campaign tour in the Brong Ahafo region today.

The Paramount Chief of Yeji and President of the Brong Ahafo regional house of Chiefs Nana Pemapin Yaw Kagbrese has called on his followers and the good people of Ghana to vote massively for President John Dramani Mahama on Dec 7 to continue with his good deeds.

According to the paramount chief, the President has done a lot across the country especially in the area of infrastructure.

He recounted the numerous projects that the people of the area are enjoying in education, health, roads among others.

He said "in spite of the election petition which spanned close to a year, our President (Oseadeyor) has done tremendously well. Instead of the people celebrating you they litigated against you, let me assure you that due to God's blessings upon you, nothing can stop you."

Nana Pemapin said it was political wrong for leaders who ruled for eight years to describe a three and half years old administration as doing nothing.

He argued that both former President JJ Rawlings and JA Kufuor enjoyed eight years thus the need to try President Mahama for another four years.

"Until we give President Mahama a four year extension, there would be no bases to judge his administration and his predecessors that enjoyed both terms," the Paramount Chief said.

The President of the Brong Ahafo regional house of chiefs urged members of the various political parties to eschew violence and embrace peace, before, during and after the next polls.

The Brong Ahafo region is the fith of ten regions that the President of Ghana has toured, including the Central, Western, Northern and the Greater Accra regions.
