... demands renewal of visa
The runaway former economic advisor to President Kufuor, Gizelle Yajzi is calling for a renewal of her visa to enable her testify against President Kufuor on the Hotel Kufuor issue.According to the Heritage newspaper, Ms Yajzi has for the past days been calling and sending e-mails to some individuals and organizations including the Truth Foundation Ghana, her local facilitators.
In one of her e-mails to the foundation Ms Yajzi said she is demanding the renewal of her visa to Ghana to present her case against President Kufuor on the ?Hotel Kufuor? negotiation.
?I Gizelle Yajzi, former Economic Advisor to President John Agyekum Kufuor, demand the renewal of my visa to Ghana to be able to present all evidence against President Kufuor on the Hotel negotiation,? the e-mail said.
She said there is no way CHRAJ can have acceptable and conclusive investigation in the Hotel affair without listening to her, the principal witness in the case.
?CHRAJ cannot end an investigation without hearing the principal witness and who accused the President of being the real owner of the Hotel,? Ms Yajzi said.
The former economic advisor is also asking Ghanaians to stand by her in what she described her crusade against corruption and graft.
?I am asking the people of Ghana to stand by me against corruption; this will be the only way to have better future for them and their children. I ask every honest person in Ghana to demand my presence in Ghana,? she said.
She said if President Kufuor is not afraid of her he would have allowed the foreign ministry to facilitate her entry into the country.
