The Acting National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Freddie Blay is calling on Ghanaians especially supporters of the party to cast their votes without any provocation on December 7 polls.

He entreated them to vote without being provoked by their opponents saying their ultimate power to kick against the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) is their votes.

Speaking on Ultimate Breakfast Show hosted by Lantam Papanko, Mr Blay indicated that it is needless for their supporters to cause mayhem that will mar the success of the elections.

‘As our Vice presidential nominee Nana Addo Dankwa and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and all the leadership of our party have being telling members of our party, don’t be provoked, your vote is your power, just go and cast your vote peacefully and without any provocation and without allowing yourself to be provoked and let the rest be taken care of by your people and representatives, and those manning the polling stations. Lets protect the ballot after we have voted and the results will be surprising, we will all win this time,’ he advised.

Commenting on their final rally at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre, he remarked that the number witnessed is a confidence booster for their win but they are not complacent.

The Acting Chairman of NPP urged Ghanaians who do not have the votes to encourage those who have the votes to step out in their numbers to vote.

He advised undecided voters to vote for a change for a better Ghana under an Akufo- Addo government.

‘The number is a confidence booster, we are happy but not complacent, we are excited but we will not take anything for granted. Still we will urge Ghanaians in every corner, village, I mean Ghanaians who have the votes and those who don’t even have it, should encourage those who have the votes to come out to vote, and let victory be emphatic so that there wouldn’t be any dispute about it,’ he admonished.

He expressed appreciation to the party’s flagbearer, running mate and executives of the party at district, regional and national levels for the massive campaign over the years.

‘The NPP this year has done very well in its campaign, the NPP has conducted one of the best campaign, that I have witnessed. Nana Addo, Dr Bawumia and the executives have done so well from polling station, district and regional levels in drumming home our message across,’ he thanked
