Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of the standard-bearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has rallied voters to go out to vote on December 07, to bring change and restore the nation to the path of real progress.

She said it was important for everybody to recognize that their vote could make a difference - and that should be the motivation.

She was launching the party’s “Adopt a polling station project” in Kumasi, the nation’s second largest city, which traditionally has been voting for the NPP.

The project, does not only seek to raise funds to adequately support its polling agents to remain vigilant on voting day, but offers the opportunity for sympathizers to sponsor the party’s activities at the local level.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo, accompanied by some national and regional officers of the party, is on a five-day election campaign in the Ashanti Region, to woo voters ahead of the presidential and parliamentary polls.

She gave the assurance that her husband would keep faith with the people - go to every length to ensure that Ghana worked for all.

An NPP government led by Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo was going to efficiently manage the nation’s resources to end the widespread economic suffering.

She, therefore, appealed to the people to vote massively for the NPP so that “we can collectively build a Ghana we can be proud of”.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Bosiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman, underlined their determination to make sure that the decision of voters was respected.
T
hat, he noted, required that they aided their agents at the polling centres to have better understanding of their role, to live up to expectation.

He indicated that they were not going to take chances and would not be cheated.

Mr. Ernest Akore, a member of the fund raising team, urged more support for the party’s project to assure it of resounding election victory.
