Ghanaian based engineering and construction firm, Golden Mainland Ghana Limited (GM) has carried out an exercise to support over forty Widows in the Mamobi area of Accra.

The Company, which said the move, was in furtherance of its commitment to give back to the society from which it operates, provided the widows with gifts in the form of Cash and food items.

Speaking on the purpose of the donation, Chief Executive officer of GM, Zoyo Zhao said the exercise was aimed at bringing joy and hope to the lives of the widows.

“Everyday my friends tell me about the extent of hardship which some of the widows in this vicinity go through and I decided alongside my team to do what we can to make their lives more convenient”.

According to her the level of acceptance they have enjoyed since entering the Ghanaian construction space also causes the company to deepen its commitment towards ensuring that the lives of Ghanaians are better.
