Francis Kwesi Andzie was on Tuesday outdoored as the new Omanhene (Paramount Chief) of

Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, under the stool name Obrempon Nyanful Krampah XI. He succeeded Okatakyi Nyanful Krampah X, who died in February. Mrs Ama Benyiwa-Doe, Central Regional Minister used the occasion to appeal to Ghanaians

to have patience for President Mills government as everything is on course to better their lot. She observed that there was no laid down formula for governing this country, hence the need

for every elected government to adopt its own means of administration. Mrs Benyiwa-Doe said it was therefore unacceptable for some people to dictate to the

President. She asked the people of Gomoa to do away with litigation to pave the way for investors to

develop the area. Mrs Benyiwa-Doe, who hails from Gomoa, said she would deal with the "litigation

contractors" in the area. The minister commended the chiefs and people of the area for making the installation and

outdooring of the chief peaceful. She urged the people to help the new chief to deliver. Mr Isaac Kingsley Ahunu-Armah, Gomoa East District Chief Executive said the National

Democratic Congress administration would give traditional authorities due recognition and

involve them in local governance. Mr Theophilus Aidoo-Mensah, Gomoa West District Chief Executive called on the people to

send their children to school to help reverse the downward trend of education in the area. Nana Akotokor Fenyi, Acting President of the Traditional Area advised the new Omanhene

to beware of the people he called "pocket advisors" who could easily lead his astray. Obrempon Krampah appealed to the chiefs and people to help remove tendencies, which

retarded development, adding: "We must all fight for progress." He expressed the need for mechanised agriculture in the area.
