A 28-year-old Teacher, Mr Jerry Kissi Yeaboah, aspiring for the position of Gomoa West Constituency Propaganda Secretary of National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on delegates to vote for competent, selfless and committed people.
This, he said would help maintain the constituency seat for the NDC in 2016 General Election.
Mr Yeaboah made the call in an interview with Ghana News Agency after he submitted his nomination form at the party’s office at Gomoa Daewurampong.
He said there is the need to bring on board some new people in the constituency executives, to bring their expertise so far as grassroots participation matters for the party to win the 2016 elections for the citizenry to continue to enjoy the fruit of the ongoing Better Ghana Agenda.
“Winning elections is by numbers and when I am voted as the Propaganda Secretary for the constituency I will work with other elected executives to reach out to the people to disseminate information of the Better Ghana Agenda such as developmental projects and on-going programmes in the area to win more members for the party.”
Mr Yeaboah advised the delegates to let the interest of the party be at the forefront of all and not to allow themselves to be influenced with money, adding that they should vote wisely to move the party forward.
