The much-publicized appearance of Communication Minister Ursula Owusu-Ekuful on Good evening Ghana ended with the video of her interview live feed deleted from the Facebook page of Good Evening Ghana.

The communication Minister made an appearance following news reports that she had said the “real owners” of Ghana have taken back “their country”.

The Facebook live session that featured her on Good Evening Ghana where she was expected to explain herself and update Ghanaians about her ministry, however, rather angered many Ghanaians who poured scornful personal insults on the minister.

The comments were so abusive that Host Paul Adom Otchere did not read any as he would usually do.

The Communications Minister, who also doubles as Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West repeated her attacks on the Minority NDC MPs, as having “taken leave of their senses”, “completely clueless”, “directionless”, “purposeless”,“ totally visionless” and “rudderless” in a video played back to her.

Host Paul Adom Otchere is also said to be shocked about the low patronage of his show with Ursula Owusu who only got an average of 500 live viewers compared to Sammy Gyamfi and Chairman Wontumi who had over 8000 and 6000 respectively.

There are others who believe the video was taken down to prevent online media portals having access to it.

Mrs Ursula Owusu Ekuful on Good Evening Ghana explained that her “real owners” comment was “twisted, misinterpreted and taken completely out of context” something she said she expressed fears about the moment she sat for the interview.

She explained that she has no regrets over the comments as what she said was not what was reported.

On Asempa FM about two weeks ago, Mrs. Ekuful is quoted as having said that, it will be over their dead body that the NPP will allow the NDC to come to power again, insisting the real owners of Ghana are now in power.

“We aren’t going to allow the NDC to ever come to power. Over our dead body. The real owners of Ghana, are now in charge. Whatever the NDC, has chopped in the past they should keep it, but we are sounding a note of warning to them that they will never see power again. Ghana deserves quality leadership and not this bunch of incompetent people”.

Update: The Good Evening Ghana team, 3 hours after publication of this article has released short videos from the interview onto their Facebook page.
