The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo has dismissed what he says is a failed attempt by elements who oppose his tough and courageous fight to ensure that the Akufo-Addo led- government delivers to the people of Ghana.
The vociferous law maker has been in the news for the wrong reasons as he’s been reported as being one of 80 clients of GN Bank who have defaulted in paying loans they took from the bank.
The publication was made by GN Bank in the state-owned Daily Graphic. It has also been reported that his company is indebted to SSNIT.
But Hon. Adongo in a statement denied being indebted to SSNIT and further urged his constituents and loved ones to pray for his life as that is the only thing his opponents can take from him to silence him.
“My company ceased to be a going concern several years ago and has no business interest to warrant any audit. There is absolutely no tax audit against me or my non operating company and I have no indebted to SSNIT.
“Please be assured that there is no court case against me and there will be none. I am focused on the task ahead of me. In the next couple of days, I will expose serious rots and incompetence of this clueless Government.
“I ask for your continuous prayers for my life as that is the only thing they can take from me to silence me. Book a date and Mark the date for the debate that will ensue from the President’s state of the nation’s address to parliament. For the small issue of GN Bank, I will tell a story at the right time.”
