Government is committed to improving living standards

Gomoa Otsew-Jukwa (C/R), Dec. 22 GNA- The District Chief Executive for Gomoa, Madam Joyce Aidoo has said the government would not shirk its responsibility to improve the living standard of Ghanaians. The DCE was addressing the chiefs and people of Gomoa Otsew-Jukwa at a special thanks-giving service at which she was honoured as "Mpontuo-Nkosoehenmaa" of the town.

This was in appreciation of his good work in the district. She thanked the people in the town for living in peace without any trouble and urged them to maintain the situation. Nana Otsieku Baah VII, Baamuhen of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, who performed the rites to confer the title on the DEC, gave her a stool name, Nana Amba Tawiah I.

The chief explained that the DCE was very instrumental in the provision of development projects in the area.
