Mr Samuel Yeboah-Menkah, Registrar, Greater Accra House Chiefs, commending the Council, said the Judicial Committee of TTC were able to settle all cases in the area preventing them from escalating.

Mr Yeboah-Menkah made the commendation on Friday during a ceremony to induct Nii Adjei Sanai I, Adjeiman Mantse and the swearing of oaths by Naa Larbiede I, Nii Adjetey Osatsei I, and Nii Mensah Namoale I, Manye, Gjaasetse and Akwashongtse for Adjeiman respectively.

He noted that “there is no case pending before the House of Chiefs from the Tema Traditional Area”.

He, therefore, urged traditional leaders in the area to continue to unite to maintain the peace in the area reminding them not to engage in activities that were beyond their domains.

The Registrar noted that by the induction of Nii Sanai I into the TTC and the Greater Accra House of Chiefs, by taking the oaths of secrecy, judicial, and others, he must act according to the Chieftaincy Act and traditions of the people.

The oats were administered by Madam Mariama Summoh, a Tema Circuit Court Judge.

Nii Adjei Kraku II, Paramount Chief of Tema, advised the chief to uphold the traditions of the Tema people reminding him that his actions and inactions would send messages to his subjects.

Nii Kraku further urged him to continuously learn the traditions and chieftaincy issues from his seniors to ensure that he discharged his traditional duties effectively.

He said being a chief was a daunting task but humility and the zeal to learn from the right people, the needed knowledge and experience would be acquired to unite the people for peace and development.

Adjeiman, which is near Adjen-Kotoku in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, was founded by the father of Nii Sanai I who hailed from Tema.
