Hajia Muniratu Hussein of MTN donates sanitary pads to girls at Battor

Hajia Muniratu Hussein of MTN – Sales Division has supported GALs World to give free Sanitary Pads to girls in about eight (8) junior high schools in the North Tongu district in the Volta Region.

Her kind gesture comes way for believing in the vision and mission of GALs World, an organization championing the course of Menstrual health and management among teenage girls and distribution of Free Sanitary Pads.

Although Hajia Muniratu Hussein was not present at the event, her donation has spoken volumes as these school girls received the free sanitary pads.

GALs World through its flagship initiative, “Red Tour” stormed the major towns including Battor and Mepe in North Tongu District in the Volta Region on Friday, October 26, 2018, to donate over six hundred sanitary pads to eight Junior high schools.

The North Tongu District Coordinator of GES, Madam Veronica Lumor who led the team upon arrival to the various schools in the district expressed her profound gratitude to GALs World.

The team visited the Mepe RC JHS, Mepe Presby JHS, Battor D/A JHS, Battor RC JHS and Manya Methodist JHS.

Others included; Aveyime RC JHS, United DA Methodist JHS, and Aveyime Methodist JHS.

The Event Coordinator for GALs World, Lady Harriet Kaku Yaba in an interview with Fnnewsonline.com expressed her gratitude to Hajia Muniratu Hussein for her donation and appealed to all corporate and religious bodies, individuals and groups to also join GALs World to be able to reach out to teenage girls in all the regions in Ghana.
