Addressing the issues raised by the former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, who urged the Central Bank to reverse measures rolled out to halt the downward spiral of the cedi, Hannah Bissiw insisted government is up to the task and making the necessary interventions to enhance the progress of the economy.
As part of measures to alleviate the suffering of Ghanaians, she revealed that the Mahama-led government has begun sharing cylinders to charcoal users to curb the usage of charcoal in the country.
