Founder and leader of All People's Congress (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga has shared photographs of himself and some persons patching dilapidated roads in his vicinity, West Lands.

“Today the 22nd Of October, I engaged the services of some road engineers and my team to do concrete patches of some roads in my area Haatso, West Legon. Together we shall build a great Ghana,” caption of the pictures read.

His action comes after President Akufo-Addo said his government is working tirelessly to fix deplorable roads in the country.

“We are tackling critical road projects in a holistic manner to ensure that every part of the country has quality all weather roads. These many projects being taken by the government to improve the road infrastructure of the nation,” the President said while speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the US$135 Million Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange in Accra recently.

Meanwhile, residents of Amoma in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East Region are calling on Government to, as a matter of urgency, fix their bad roads or they will boycott the 2020 general elections.

According to the residents, the road becomes muddy and slippery to travel on during the rainy season; and becomes very dusty during the dry season to the extent that one needs to carry extra clothes when travelling on the road.
