Health minister Dr. Okoe-Boye tours Western Region to inspects health facilities

The health minister Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye is touring the Western Region of Ghana to assess health infrastructure projects initiated under the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration.

This initiative is part of the Ministry's commitment to improve access to healthcare delivery in the county.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, Dr. Okoe-Boye and his entourage paid a visit to the Tarkwa Nsuaem Polyclinic and Elubo Government Hospital.

During the working visit, the minister interacted with healthcare workers, listened to their concerns and explored possible solutions aimed at enhancing service delivery.

Addressing the staff at both facilities, Dr. Okoe-Boye encouraged them to continue working with dedication to improve healthcare in Ghana.

He emphasized the importance of their role in ensuring that Ghanaians receive the best possible care and reiterated the government's commitment to supporting healthcare professionals in their efforts.

The health minister also highlighted the achievements of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in revamping the health sector.

This visit is part of a broader target by the government to assess the progress of ongoing health projects and ensure that the country's healthcare system is poised to deliver efficient and effective services to all citizens.
