Communication Director of Hearts of Oak Opare Larbi Addo has urged Asante Kotoko family to move on from their 1-0 defeat in the Super Two clash last week Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors were left flummoxed at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend in the Super two clash when Accra-based Class One referee Samuel Sukah awarded a late controversial penalty to their arch-rivals Hearts of Oak to beat them 1-0.

After a thorough playback of the match tape by the referees review panel, a decision was arrived that the controversial call by the under-fire referee was legitimate hence he was cleared of any wrongdoing in the game.

Nevertheless, the Porcupine faithful have expressed discontent with the decision of the panel reports and are calling for vivid findings into the case.

Speaking to Happy FM, Hearts of Oak spokesperson, Opare Addo impelled his sworn rivals to accept defeat and move on to their subsequent matches.

“It will be my wish that our friends at Kotoko will accept the defeat and eat a humble pie because they initially expressed dissatisfaction with the referee, but the review panel has done their job and brought out the final decision, or is it by force that the results should go your way because you’re calling for it.”

“I want to tell the Kotoko family that wherever they will take this case to, the three points will never change, it will be better for them to accept that they’ve lost the game and then we move on.”
