Hearts have disrespected their founding fathers – Kurt Okraku

Kurt wont leave his Dreams FC for Hearts on anyday Kurt wont leave his Dreams FC for Hearts on anyday

Executive Member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku has revealed that Accra Hearts of Oak has failed to honour the founding fathers of the club.

Kurt Okraku in response to a question on Metro TV’s Sports File, as to whether he will ever consider managing Hearts of Oak, he categorically said no, and that why would he leave Dreams FC to Hearts.

“Hearts have disrespected their founding fathers. Those who founded the club, have been neglected by the club. The Okraku, Moffat and Afoley families are bitter about the attitude of the club. My grandfather, Okraku shed his blood for Hearts of Oak, yet no recognition has been given him, and that hurts me a lot. I don’t want to talk about Hearts of Oak”, he asserted.

“I once asked Commodore Mensah what the club were doing for their founding fathers, but he said nothing. So I really don’t want to talk about Hearts. And I won’t leave my Dreams FC for Hearts on any day”, he added.

Kurt Okraku has on several occasions been tipped to manage Accra Hearts of Oak, but with this position, it is clear he does not have anything to do with the club.
