A middle-aged woman with four kids, has appealed for help to find her husband, who she says has been missing for over two years now.

According to the woman who mentioned her name as Afia, her husband, a truck driver employed by Dangote Cement Company, one of the companies owned by Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, was posted to Nigeria for a period which was supposed to last for three months but has not been heard from for exactly two and half years now.

Afia said she has tried her possible best to get the company to assist her in locating her husband who worked for the company for some six months, but has received close to no cooperation from the company.
She said on Taabea TV’s Esumase programme that her follow ups to the company has revealed that the truck assigned to her husband was found abandoned with a little over 30 bags of cement left out of over 900 bags which he was supposed to deliver.

She also revealed that the truck has since been sent back to the company’s yard in Nigeria where it was found abandoned.

Afia added that her husband’s family who are supposed to be involved in the search for her missing husband have also put very little effort in finding their family member.

Afia says the only interest of her husband’s employer in finding him seems to be just about the missing consignment and not the father of four, who has not been seen for close to three years now.
