Help me save the country from the novel coronavirus – Akufo-Addo ‘begs’ Ghanaians

President Akufo-Addo has called on Ghanaians to corporate by adhering to all the safety precautionary measures put in place to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

He advised Ghanaians to be hygienic, make sure they wear face masks when going out to prevent the contraction of the disease, as well as stop the spread of it.

Akufo-Addo also reiterated the need for all to observe precautionary measures that will contain the disease which is fast spreading.

“Practice hygiene, wash your hands with soap under running water, wear face masks when going out, practice social distancing, …It’s my duty to protect you in times of crisis, help me do my job”.

This, he stated, is the only solution to winning the fight against the disease.

He made this appeal in his 8th coronavirus address to the nation Sunday, April 26, 2020.

Ghana has recorded an additional 271 cases of the novel coronavirus[when this week?], making the country's case count now 1,550.

The number of people dead are 11 and 155 persons have recovered from the disease.
