Hisense Ghana lead corporate partners to support Children's Hospital

Scores of Liverpool supporters known as Mighty Reds Ghana came together on Saturday February 16th to celebrate the Valentine weekend with a massive health, fitness and networking walk before a donation to the Accra children hospital.

The Valentine love walk was dubbed #FortheChildren with the aim of demonstrating extraordinary love for the kids at the hospital.

Hisense led a group of corporate partners including events agency One Ghana, Peak Milk, Cocoa Processing Company - producers Golden Tree Chocolate, Beautiful Beneath, Vigor Security Services and Walkers Club Ghana.

The Alliance of sponsors were able to support with items worth over Gh 11,000 cedis to the children's hospital.

These included a television set, a fridge, kettles, 50 boxes of Awake mineral water and toys from Hisense, assorted products from Cocoa Processing Company, assorted products from Peak Milk and security protection from Vigor Security.

In addition, Mighty Reds Ghana organised a fund raising campaign to raise an amount of Gh 6,000 cedis cash as part of the donation.

A leading member of Mighty Reds Ghana is former Kumasi Asante Kotoko P.R.O Dr. Kwame Baah Nuakoh who led the presentation on behalf of the 45 member strong delegation.

He indicated how important it is to show charity in the smallest simplest ways.

"Giving is a good thing, especially when you give to young children because their prayers go straight to heaven.

"We the Mighty Reds Ghana firmly believe this charity work will play a major role in Liverpool's successful title chase".

Liverpool FC are currently leading the English Premier league table ahead of Manchester city.
