The Governing Council of the Ho Technical University (HTU) has appointed new management officers.

The appointment of the new officers was necessitated by the end of tenure of former office holders between September and October, 2018.

This was contained in a news release signed by Dr. Christopher K. Amehoe, Registrar of the University and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Ho.

The officers are Dr Christopher K. Amehoe, Registrar, Mrs Justin Delali Tsagli- Anomanyo, Director of Internal Audit, Mr. Augustine Kwame Owusu, Director of Finance, Dr Kojo E. Atiso, Librarian and Mr Nicholas K. Amagah, Director of Works and Physical Development.

The release said they would be in office for a term of four years.

It said the appointment was for the officers to support the Vice-Chancellor in running the affairs of the University for the 2019/2020 academic year which would commence in August 2019.

The release said Prof. Honyenuga had made history as the first internal faculty member to be appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University.

It said an investiture ceremony would soon be held to induct the new Vice-Chancellor into office.
