A prominent member of the Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye, made a special appearance at the 70th anniversary of Togbi Salu III's enstoolment as chief of Anlo-Afiadenyigba on October 5, 2024.

Accompanied by members of his party and enthusiastic community members, Adorye visited the durbar ground to pay homage to Togbi Salu III and other traditional leaders.

Representing the flagbearer of the Movement for Change, he generously contributed to the construction of the ultra-modern palace and sports complex, which was inaugurated as part of the anniversary celebrations.

The event, themed "The Changing Landscape of Traditional Leadership: Repositioning Salu Stool for Community Development," also marked the installation of a new Agbotadua (Paramount Chief) and Mama (Queen Mother) to assist Togbi Salu III in managing the chiefdom.

Expressing his gratitude for the new appointments, the chief emphasized the importance of having capable and competent leaders to support his vision.

As the traditional custodian of the Anlo-Afiadenyigba land, Togbi Salu III urged elders and residents to prioritize peace and education as essential factors for development and progressive governance.

The event was attended by dignitaries including the chairman and council of elders of the Salu stool, Hon. Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey (MP for Keta), Hon. Emmanuel Gemegah (MCE of Keta), and other traditional leaders.
