A June 3 survivor has revealed to Atinka News how she got her pretty skin back.

Doris' face and arms had been burnt when she visited the studios of Atinka a year ago – precisely seven days after June 3 disaster. However, the pretty trader seem to have perfectly regained her skin a year later. She looked prettier and has no scars on her face and arms unlike other burnt victims.

She revealed that, she applied ‘a mixture of powdered snail shell’ Shea butter to her skin regularly in addition the orthodox treatment she was receiving.

It appears the traditional medication has worked perfectly for Doris as her dark skin now look smoother than before.

How Doris survived the June 3 disaster

Doris Nyarko, who lives around the Nima Police Station in Accra, believes her survival is divine.

According to the petty trader who sustained burns on her face and arms, a man in a "white car" rescued her from the flood waters with the intention of sending her to the hospital.

But her insistence that the man send her home first for her worried family members to know she was alive, touched the 'Good Samaritan's' heart and he obliged.

Since then, Doris said several efforts to reach this man to thank him have proved futile.
