The NPP extraordinary delegates conference happened at the Heroes Park in Kumasi.

One interesting thing which happened at the event is the appearance of the party's suspended General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong.

Apart from this being the first party programme Mr Agyepong has attended since his suspension, his outfit was intriguing.

He was dressed like a Sheik in an all-white outfit and he was beaming with smiles.

Many at the venue cheered him on as he exchanged pleasantries with delegates.

It is not known if Mr Agyepong has converted to Islam as that attire is associated with Muslim Scholars and respected Muslim leaders.

Kwabena Agyepong was suspended in 2015, alongside the party's 2nd National Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe, after they publicly disregarded the party’s decision to indefinitely suspend its then National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

In recent times, there have been many calls for Mr Agyepong as unlike Mr Crabbe and Mr Afoko, he did not go to court to contest his suspension.

He is also seen by many party supporters to have put up a relatively good behaviour after his suspension.

His appearance and the cheers he got go may well send signals that he is still liked by a section of the party' supporters.
