The death of ace broadcast journalist with the Multimedia Group, Mr. Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong, affectionately called KABA appears to have hit leading political figures in the country harder than his colleagues from the inky fraternity.

Host of late afternoon political show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM has left many politicians including former and current ministers of state devastated as the join the bereaved family to mourn his loss.

Prominent among those who have expressed their heartfelt condolences are Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Former President John Dramani Mahama

General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia described him as a gem in the media landscape in his tribute.

“KABA always pushed me to reveal details I would have otherwise not have done in interviews…he always pushed us to reveal serious details…,” he disclosed on Asempa FM hours after KABA’s death was announced, Saturday.
