Humanity Magazine Honors MTTU Commander

Humanity Magazine has honoured the Nima Divisional Commander of the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) of the Ghana Police Service, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Hajia Sa-ada M. Muhammed, for her outstanding motor bike heroic display to mark the recent Independence day celebrations at the Independent Square in Accra.
The social magazine, champions the cause of women in Africa through education and training, advocacy, research, empowerment, protection and advocacy.
ASP Sa-ada received a cash price of GHC 5000 and a certificate of appreciation. She donated the money to the kayayei projects in Ghana appealed to opinion leaders in the northern regions to embark on sensitization programmes to educate families about the rights of the girl-child to education and the dangers of being on the street of Kumasi and Accra.
She dedicated the award, which was titled “ASP Sa-ada, a model of Police professionalism and women bravado” to her colleague police women in Ghana.
On his part the managing editor of the Humanity Magazine, Mallam Yahaya, thanked the Nima Divisional Commander of the MTTU for the iconic display on the important day on the national national calendar. He described Hajia as an exemplary woman who has used her position to bring peace in her hometown of Bawku and ensuring orderliness at religious events such as the Muslim Eid festivals and Mau’lid, the celebrations of the birth day of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
