I am committed to press for the growth in church activities - Tarkwa-Nsuaem MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality, Hon Gilbert Ken Asmah has emphasized his commitment to ensuring the growth of Churches within the Municipality at all times.

He made during his presentation as the Special Guest of Honour during the launching of the WEST-CENTRAL GHANA CONFERENCE by the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tarkwa.

Enumerating the role of the SDA in the growth of the economy of Ghana, he cited Education and Health as well as other philanthropic gestures as some of the areas the church has ventured.

According to Hon Gilbert Ken Asmah, The NPP government is committed to giving maximum support to activities of churches and the gospel ministry.

"it is the greatest desire for His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo, President of Ghana to see the growth of the church", to this end; the President has cut a sod for the construction of a central CATHEDRAL for all churches in Ghana.

The launching which was themed "REACH THE WORLD" brought together sixteen Districts some of which include Asankrangua, Aboso, Ateiku, Enchi, Samreboi East and West, Tarkwa East and West and Prestea.
