I am not in politics for money- Nana Addo

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo has stated that he is not into politics to amass wealth but to restore the hope of the less privileged in society.

He insisted that Ghana needed serious minds and the political goodwill to fix what he referred to as the nation’s ailing economy.

Nana Addo was addressing the Asogli Traditional Council in the Volta Region.

The NPP Presidential candidate began his restore hope campaign tour of the Volta Region with a public lecture at the Ho Polytechnic on the party’s vision for the agriculture sector.

Though the Volta Region is noted to be the NDC’s 'World Bank' (stronghold), Nana Akufo-Addo told the Voltarians that he has the area at heart and pledged his commitment to build good relationship between the people of the region and the NPP.

He reminded them of the need to vote for change on December 7 because the NPP is capable of meeting their developmental needs.

Nana Addo on Wednesday proceeded to northern Volta and is expected to address rallies at Trekpe, Vakpo, Biakoye and Kejebi.
