Former Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed has attacked the Ghanaian Premier League saying he could purchase a player in Ghana with his one-month salary in Tanzania.
Yahaya, who left Aduana for Azam FC noted that buying a player in Ghana is not above his reach.
The 28-year-old former Kotoko attacker believes he has made enough money to buy a player in the Ghanaian top flight.
"I can use my one month salary here in Tanzania to recruit a premier league player in Ghana,'' Yahaya told Kumasi-based Silver FM
"If a club in Ghana can buy a player at a price of 10,000 GH cedis to 20,000 GH cedis with the highest being 40,000GH cedis; what shows that I can't do same with my current financial status in Tanzania?" he quizzed.
"So I'm saying this without mincing a word in my submission that I can recruit one player in Ghana with my one month salary," he bragged.
Yahaya Mohammed penned a two-year contract with Azam FC from Ghanaian giants Aduana Stars last year.
