Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Advanced Bodysculpt Centre popularly known as Obengfo Hospital, Dr. Dominic Obeng-Andoh has denounced any involvement in the sudden death of Stacy Offei-Darko, former Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP).

Speaking in an interview on an Accra based radio station yesterday, he emphatically stated that it was not his fault that Ms. Stacy died.

“I will not intentionally do anything that will lead to a patient’s death,” he added.

“A lot of the things being said about the case are lies”, he said, adding: “…This is not a case that should have ended up in court in the first place”.

The embattled cosmetic surgeon declined to further comment on the issue as it’s still pending in court.

Ms. Offei-Darko, he revealed, was a friend of his.

Due to him being connected to her death, the doctor said he has not been able to bring himself to visit Stacy’s family to show his support.

Dr. Obeng-Andoh together with his janitor, who was also charged with impersonation, were accused of being involved in Ms. Offei-Darko’s.

The accused were arrested, detained and are currently battling to prove their innocence in court.

He however urged the media to be cautious in their reportage and believes that the performance of health practitioners is affected whenever facts involved in matters of that nature are twisted and misrepresented.

In another development, Dr Obeng-Andoh has revealed that some women who come for re-sculpting are Ghanaian pastors.

According to him, There are people from all sectors of life who come to me for my services. Some are wives of doctors, politicians, pastors and pastors’ wives; church members [and] all kinds of people; even some media people also come to the hospital”.

Among his clientele, he mentioned that celebrities, businesswomen, public figures and expatriates who travel all the way from their countries of origin to Ghana, visit him for liposuction and body contouring procedures.

He disclosed that most of them deal with bloated tummies, shapelessness and obesity.

As far as he is concerned, he is providing essential services to his clients, adding that through his craft, he has helped salvaged marriages which were on the rocks due to some husbands’ loss of sexual interest in their wives, especially after childbirth.
