Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries, has reacted to rumours that he uses occultic powers.

According to him, he has no supernatural powers, as it has been speculated by some people.

He went on to say that he began working for God at the age of 13 years and has remained true to his calling since then.

"I started the work of God at the age of 13 years, so I'm not using any supernatural powers, but it is by the grace of God, so all my members should come to church on Sunday", he added.

Speaking on Kofi TV on Friday, January 4, 2019, he explained that some Ghanaians have little understanding of the nature of his calling.

He stated that at any point in time, God speaks to Christians through him through one of two ways.

The first way, he said, is a direct message from God to his people, and he has no control in such a situation.

The second strategy, he disclosed, is through dreams or visions, which he said he has control over.

Owusu Bempah further stated that God indeed spoke through him when he prophesied the deaths of a number of prominent Ghanaians.

For that reason, he went on, the message he gave were directly from God, and not his own ideas.

He further stated that he has no ill-feeling towards any individual and is therefore surprised that a section of Ghanaians are determined to torment him.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported of the prophecies given by Owusu Bempah during the Monday, December 31, 2018 church service, and the destruction of his church premises that occurred two days afterwards.
