Former Communications Director of the erstwhile Mills administration, Koku Anyidoho, says he does not regret surrendering absolute loyalty to late President John Mills.
Mr. Anyidoho told XYZ Breakfast show on Friday July 19 that: “I was loyal to him and I have no regrets about being loyal to him”.
According to him, there was no way he would have compromised his loyalty to his mentor.
“He gave me the opportunity to serve and I had no option but to be loyal to him, and that is what it ought to be”, he noted.
Koku Anyidoho, who is now at the national security coordinator’s office under the presidency, said he will extend the same loyalty to any president he serves under, including current President John Mahama.
“Time past, it was Kwame Nkrumah. Many presidents came and left [but] at [the] time it was President Mills and the loyalty was to him. Today it’s President Mahama, the loyalty is to him and that is how we got to operate”, insisting that he will not under any circumstances “sacrifice his loyalty to the president”.
