Ghanaian legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw has declared himself as one of the most formidable lawyers in the country, boasting an impressive track record of winning over 300 cases.

Speaking in an interview on the Delay Show, Ampaw highlighted his significant contributions to the legal field in Ghana, including his dominance in the social media space.

"I am one of the strongest lawyers in this country. The things I have accomplished here, no lawyer born of a woman can match. The fights I take on are the ones others shy away from. I have also made a mark on social media. I have won over 300 cases, including human rights cases for clients like Chairman Wontumi, Sarah Koblah and among others," Ampaw shared.

He also recalled how he rejected training from president Akufo-Addo after receiving numerous awards in law school during his call to the Bar.

"Akufo-Addo asked who my dad was, and I told him it was the late GD Ampaw, not realizing he knew my father. My father was a lawyer and a Minister of Health during Busia's regime. He was an MP for Akyem-Abukwa when Akufo-Addo was a child, and his father was a ceremonial president. That's how he knew my father. He offered to train me, but I declined because I don't like politicians," he stated.
