The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has said that God told him that his prophecies for 2019 will cause lots of trouble in Ghana.
Prophecies from the controversial man of God have caused fear and panic this year.
Some angry Muslim youth, numbering about a dozen and believed to be from the Moslem community, were ostensibly angered by a prophecy by the pastor that the Chief Imam will die this year.
They stormed the South Odorkor branch Rev Owusu Bempah’s church and destroyed property.
But after condemning the act, the Chief Imam called for the arrest of four of the youth and asked the Moslem community to forgive the man of God.
According to him, Islam stands for peace: “We are living in peace with fellow Christians and other religion so let’s maintain that relationship. Leave him with his character and forgive him. As for death, every soul shall taste it either today or tomorrow so no need to attack the man. Please leave him and forgive him, I am begging you, I am begging you.”
Rev Owusu Bempah subsequently visited the Chief Imam in his residence at Fadama as a gesture to smoke the peace pipe.
The man of God who claims he didn’t receive many prophecies from God at the 31st All Night Service said God told him that his ‘few’ prophecies were going to cause lots of problems and hence urged him to stand firm.
This assurance, he said on Good Evening Ghana as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com caused him to be reassured that his church will stand all storms.
“Going into 2019, God told that the prophecies that I will deliver in 2019 will cause lots of prophecies but I didn’t understand…prophesying is like dreaming, one cannot determine the kinds of dreams God should show…,” he said.
