The General Secretary of the main opposition New Patriotic Party Kwabena Agyepong has served notice he will soon confront his detractors in the National Executive body of the party.
According to him, the simmering tensions in the party are part of a grand scheme by some executives to undermine him and the national chairman Paul Afoko.
“I have kept quiet for a long time and I am getting tired.
“If this is how they want things to go, then I will soon begin to expose how things really are in the party; they have pushed me to the wall.
“I know there are plans by some people just to destroy me and my future in politics and I am prepared to confront them squarely henceforth,” the former Presidential spokesperson stated on Accra-based Okay FM Thursday.
The Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition has been engrossed in confusion lately after some national executives led by the first national Vice Chairman Freddie Blay superintended over a steering committee meeting without the knowledge of the general secretary and national chairman.
