The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Efutu Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin has described himself as a “courteous” politician, contrary to public perception that he is full of himself.
Afenyo-Markin, who has often been tagged as a “controversial” lawmaker-cum-politician, said although he has been vilified on several occasions, he is never interested in bringing others down.
“I’m courteous in my manners,” the legislator told Bola Ray on personality profile show Starr Chat, Wednesday.
He added: “I won’t run anybody down. I have done politics devoid of any attack.”
Afenyo-Markin said he remains focused on his campaign for re-election and will help bring the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo to power.
