The editor in chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has wondered why some Ghanaians refer to him as honouring, describing it as appalling.

Having commended the Chief Justice for chastising the use of the title ‘honourable’ by members of parliaments, Mr. Baako indicated the situation was getting out of hand, and as irritating as it could be.

“…I think this is long overdue. I had long expected someone in high office to tackle this issue and I’m glad the CJ did”. He said.

Speaking on Joy News’ flagship program News File, the ace journalist recalled severally instances where he was referred to as an honourable having indicated how he abhorred that title.

“…I remember one day as I sat in a coffee shop, someone approached me and referred to me as an honorable in his bid to greet me”. He indicated.

Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo last Tuesday chided two MPs, Ernest Norgbey and Kwabena Minta Akandoh for adding the title to their names in a writ they filed before the court.
