The President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has stated that his decision not to continue battling for the FIFA Executive Council position was because of the brotherly love he has for Kwesi Nyantakyi.
 
The Delta state sports commissioner revealed he never thought of running for the position because Nyantakyi had the desire to continue.
 
''I never contemplated running for the Fifa Council apparently because my brother and colleague Kwesi had mentioned long ago his desire to continue,'' Amaju Pinnick featured on Football Africa Arena.
 
There were claims that the 48 year old had or perhaps is on the verge of failing a FIFA integrity test, hence his fear of contesting Kwesi,but he was quick to rubbish the claim and promised to take legal action against such people.
 
''I passed the FIFA integrity test 100% before i was appointed into the Football Organising Committee, i have briefed my lawyer and legal proceedings will begin next week,'' he fumed.
 
The Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi was elected into the FIFA council after beating off competiton from Ahmad of Madagscar and others.
