Many prophesies were made by several men of God on 31st night, many of which spelt doom for several individuals in the country.
The situation which has sparked debate on whether or not to criminalize these prophesies by renowned men of God remains an issue of public discourse.
One of the prominent men of God whose prophesies has angered Ghanaians is the Founder and leader of the True Word Fire Prophetic Ministries (TWPFM), Prophet Nigel Gaisie.
Prophet Gaisie who has predicted doom for a 'Top GhOne Female News Anchor', KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Kwesi Arthur, NDC's Ama Benyiwa Doe, among others has also said something about President Akufo-Addo.
According to him, it was revealed to him that someone was wearing President Akufo-Addo's shoes.
He asserted: "I saw the president, Nana Akufo-Addo, I saw that someone was wearing his shoes. Let's pray for him so nobody will wear his shoes"
The statement has been interpreted to suggest that the Prophet is indicating the President will lose the 2020 general elections
Prophet Nigel who came into the limelight after a video of him predicting a sudden death for Ebony Reigns surfaced after the singer's death, has earlier stated categorically that it has been revealed to him seven times that ex-President Mahama will emerge victorious in the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
