Deputy General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen, says he takes his time in speaking to issues and makes more sense unlike General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

“Kwame I take my time when speaking about issues and make sense unlike he Asiedu Nketia”, he jabbed on Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame Adinkra.

Responding to claims by the NDC Scribe that members of the NPP are to blame for agitations by aggrieved DKM Micro Finance customers, Nana Obiri Boahen wondered why someone in the caliber of the Asiedu Nketia will always speak that way.

In his view, he should have known better and not accuse his political opponents of being complicit in the whole DKM saga maintaining that government played a major role in the whole exercise

“The angry customers are right to accuse government for the loss of their investments to DKM. If government is not culpable why did they appoint a liquidator for the company”, he quizzed

Mr. Asiedu Nketia last week said NPP legislators from the Brong Ahafo region, are to blame for the infamous DKM Micro Finance saga.

He indicates that the MPs who themselves invested in the phony scheme, urged their constituents to join because they demonstrated to the innocent people it was a good investment decision and therefore encouraged them to join.

“Lawyers, accountants and knowledgeable people of high class in society are those to blame because they invested in it and paved the way for the poor victims”, he said.

They created the problem and must be apologizing to the victims they led astray rather than blaming NDC leaders because they led the masses to make the wrong investment decisions”, he stated.
