Founder and Chairman of the United Progressive Party (UPP) Akwasi Addai Odike has lash out at the opposition National Democratic Congress and ex- President John Mahama for nearly collapsing his businesses when the party was in power.
According to the business mogul, former President John Dramani Mahama and his NDC party failed to put good measures in place to see to it that the private sector had a massive growth because of its bad governance.
Though Odike couldn’t make emphatic statement of any massive business growth in the private sector under President Akufo Addo’s administration, he remains optimistic there will be a massive face lift in 2018 since the NPP government regards the private sector as major source of economic growth.
‘‘I suffered a lot when the NDC was in power since 2008, my business went down drastically I tell you Kwame’’
‘’All my business proposals and documents I sent to the NDC government were never approved to enable me grow my businesses’’ Odike told Kwame Adinkra host of Abusua Nkommo on Tuesday.
‘’He added ‘’from what I am seeing the economic will change come next year because of what President Akufo Addo is putting in place. I foresee a major face lift in the private sector in 2018’’.
