I did not want to contest again - Helen Ntoso

Helen Adjoa Ntoso, a reelected Member of Parliament for Krachie West, has claimed that she originally planned not to run in the 2024 parliamentary election, but a prophecy in 2022 of her triumph if she did made her reconsider.

According to the MP, she decided not to contest again because she was not appreciated by her constituents.

Madam Ntoso lamented that despite all the achievements she had chalked in the constituency, her efforts were not appreciated.

However, in 2022, a prophecy from Prophet Kofi Oduro made her change her mind.

She disclosed that a man of God told her that God was not finished with her and that she should contest again, which she would win.

The MP disclosed this after her church service at the Alabaster Prayer Ministry in Accra on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

In her submission she said, ‘It has not been easy, but God has been so good to us. Two years ago, Prophet Oduro prophesied that I was good to win… I had decided not to contest because I thought I had done so much in my constituency, but it was like what I had done was not appreciated. But Prophet Oduro asked me to contest because the Lord had not done with me.

So I prayed about it, and God gave me Joshua 8:7 that I should go and take over the city. So I think the Lord was telling me to go and take over the constituency."

She further revealed people thought she would lose the primaries, but she won with a wider margin.

Then as the election was approaching, people gave up on her, including the NDC, because the difference between her and the candidate who contested the 2020 election on the ticket of the NPP was 496 votes.

However, after results were counted and declared in the 2024 election, she won with over 2,000 votes.

According to Madam Ntoso, a prophet even prophesied two weeks before the election that she was going to lose her seat even when Prophet Oduro had already prophesied that she was going to win.
