The aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party
(NPP) in the Yilo Krobo Constituency of the Eastern Region says he made the right decisions with his choices in the ballot box.
Dr. Twum Barimah Koranteng speaking to journalists after casting his vote at Plau, a suburb of Yilo Krobo in the Eastern Region a while ago said he made the right decisions with the Candidates he voted for.
"I've made the right choice, right choice for Ghana and right choice for Yilo Krobo," he asserted.
Stressing on the need for peaceful elections, Dr Twum Barimah who doubles as the NPP's Eastern Regional first vice chairman called on the electorate to ensure a peaceful electoral process.
He expressed: "Everybody must vote calmly, voting is all about opinions, all we need in this country is peace."
He also expressed satisfaction with the voting process so far, adding that arrangements were in order.
Dr. Twum is contesting the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Dr Albert Tetteh Nyakotey who's seeking a second term in office.
The NPP has never won the Yilo Krobo seat but the party is hopeful of securing victory in today's polls.
