The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor says he was fortunate to have the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare as his boss when he was deputy Chief of Staff at the Presidency.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Thursday, Mr. Jinapor stated that he was not scared despite his age for such a position.

“I just felt it was a big responsibility, I should say that at the initial stages, you are abundantly cautious even to perform, because you are just scared that you will misstep and so you are always very cautious.

“I was lucky in terms of the person I worked under. The Chief of Staff is a very cautious woman and very diligent woman and on top of it she is also a mother figure.”

According to him, the Chief of Staff took him through how-to minute correspondence as a public servant at the Presidency, and a Deputy Chief of Staff which he did not know.

“In the public service every morning when you come to the office, they have what is called the in and out. They bring you correspondence and give directives and comments. So I took it to her and she walked me through how it’s done,” Mr. Jinapor narrated.
