The late Chief Executive Officer Labianca Company Limited Eunice Jacqueline Buah

The late Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Labianca Company Limited, Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh, shared some of the ordeals she faced in an unaired interview with broadcaster Adakabre Frimpong Manso.

In a snippet of the 1-hour interview broadcasted by Adakabre on Wednesday, June 20, 2024, Eunice Buah, who was the representative for the Western Region on Ghana's Council of State, is heard recounting how she was attacked when she started her business.

The late Council of State member revealed that the attackers used the media to spread fabricated stories about her.

She mentioned that at one point, she considered giving up because the trials she faced were overwhelming.

"I started experiencing troubles shortly after I began my work. The challenges I faced were such that I would wake up one day and find myself targeted in a newspaper. I endured tribulations for 13 years.

"At times, I questioned whether I should continue or stop. However, I also realized that my business was thriving due to the high-quality products my suppliers provided," the late Eunice Buah expressed.

Before airing snippets of the interview, broadcaster Adakabre mentioned that the late Labianca owner had instructed him not to broadcast the tape but to keep it until after her passing.

He was unsure of what to do with the audio he had preserved since then.
